THE COURTYARD: Where we hung out

We spent a lot of time in the courtyard - generally from 1 a.m. until 5 or 6 a.m. Something about Spain, perhaps the heat, just seems to promote a nocturnal lifestyle. One night, d2b, Margaret and I played a drinking game - it was good silly fun. Other times, Ken would hold court. And the night 8081 set up a show in the courtyard it turned into a raindance!

Doesn't the post look like a sundial in this photo?

I loved watching Brett dance. That boy's got some wacky moves!

Father and son.

A common sight on the stairs.

Fakeshop and Atty reclining.

Margaret looking all sweet and sun-pinked.

Seba serenades Francesca.

Jeff's socks drying in the hot Spanish sun.

Margaret, d2b, Jef, Eryk & Francesc. This was the afternoon we wound up watching ants for a longer period of time than we'd all care to admit. We all agreed that Spanish ants are busier than American ants.

Ken holding court in the courtyard. Hey - is Elout peeking at his watch?

Eryk and Margaret

The ever enigmatic Michi who often vanished from our sight.
