Phil and Lola were extremely gracious hosts and made us feel very welcome in their home. Phil talks a mile a minute with his wonderful English accent and kept us quite entertained. His wife, Lola, is a petite blonde with an impish sense of humor. Although she didn't speak that much English, and my Spanish is lacking, we were able to communicate just fine, once again reinforcing the importance of pantomime, facial expressions, and good old 'vibes.'
